Reverend Dr. Coley Mearite, he is a product of the Ebenezer Baptist Church located in Clio, South Carolina.  He is a 1963 graduate of the former Lincoln High School that was located in Clio.

 

Dr. Mearite is a graduate of the Morris College School of Religion, the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia in conjunction with Benedict College of Columbia, S. C.; the International Overcoming Outreach School of Religion in Columbia, S. C.; and the David A. A. Mungo Theological Seminary in Pageland, S. C.  He has earned the degrees of Bachelor of Theology, Master of Christian Education, Doctorate of Divinity, and Doctorate of Theology.

 

Dr. Mearite is a former professor at Northeastern Technical College where he taught Exploring the Old and New Testaments.  Pastor Mearite has been pastoring at Shiloh for approximately 21 years.  He is married to Gladys Christine Mearite and they are the proud parents of one adult child and two grandchildren.
